Nick's 2010 Senior Photo/Video Presentation
Here's a new concept video I'm developing with Life's Big Events photography for High School Seniors. Rather than just having Senior photos we're combining a video storyline along with their traditional photos. Nick, who's also my nephew, was an excellent choice for a pilot to this exciting new adventure. We already have several more videos currently being edited. If you know a current Junior in High School have them contact me so that we can capture their story! With all the new gadgets and online forums nowadays Nick was able to upload his video to his IPod Touch, place it on his MySpace and share it with all his friends. He also receive all his still photos on DVD along with his video.

Movie Theater Proposal
Corey and Amanda were engaged this evening at Flagship Cinemas in Auburn, Maine. Instead of the regular movie previews a special on-screen proposal was presented by Corey asking Amanda for her hand in marriage! Being a romantic Corey decided to bring Amanda to view her favorite horror movie genre and what better day to do it than on Friday the 13th to the premiere of Friday the Thirteen!!! The packed theatre cheered and applauded as Amanda said YES! Needless to say they decided to leave the movie and announce their exciting news the their family and friends. They might return on Valentine's Day. Via-Vision Video of Lewiston created the video presentation.

Falmouth Saint Mary's Church
I recorded a wedding last year at Saint Mary the Virgin Church in Falmouth, Maine and mailed the Reverend a DVD of the wedding. I was fortunate to record another wedding this summer with the same Reverend James and the same photographer, Tim Riley of Riley Photographic. We all enjoyed working together and it was nice to have the familiarity. At the time Father James mentioned he would like to have us listed on the church recommended vendors but have yet been able to follow up and call him. To my surprise he sent me an email today which had to be one of the nicest comments I've received from any officiant of Reverend.

Rebecca & William's Spruce Point Inn Wedding
Below are a few highlights of Rebecca and William's wedding which we recorded at the Spruce Point Inn in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. Beautiful Katubah signing before the outdoor ceremony which faced the famous bay.
Thank you Rebecca and Billy for giving us the opportunity to record your wedding.

Diana & Matthew's Wedding in Boothbay Harbor
Diana and Matt had a wonderful wedding at the Our Lady of the Sea Catholic Church in Boothbay Harbor and their reception at the Newagen Seaside Inn in Southport. About a third of my weddings were in Boothbay in 2007! I really love the area as the scenery is so beautiful.
I cannot say enough about Jason Schlosser and his team at the Newagen Inn. Their very cooperative and everything is always in place for a perfect wedding. They truly cater to making sure every detail is in place. Jason, do you know who made the cake for their wedding? It's the best wedding cake I've ever tasted! I would love to know the baker so I can order a cake for my wife and family:-)
Tim Riley of Riley Photographic is always fun to work with as he always comes up with new and unique ways to photograph. He has a creative eye and definitely an artist behind the camera. I have to thank him as he is always watching my whereabouts and makes certain I get my shot!
For years I've attended the Portland Bridal show and DJ Mark Sawyer was always stationed next to my booth and we finally were able to work together again. Always a pro and folks were dancing! Just what I want to see for the video! I noticed how the Bride was occasionally making requests and Mark was always on top of his game. I don't think the dance floor got a break all night. I know folks were having such a good time after the reception that they moved into another building to keep the evening alive.
Thank you Matt and Diana for having us record your wedding in HD. I couldn't see this wedding recorded otherwise. The weather, location and the Bride and Groom were excellent to capture on video. I've actually used the "Movie Preview" clip of their wedding as part of my HD wedding demo since January. This is a dramatic preview and I had fun putting it together. I chose the music myself and it is different than music any Bride and Groom has chosen before. I wanted something different with impact! Hopefully it will inspire viewers to see more. Hit the PLAY button below and enjoy.

Kristi & Joe's Wedding in Boothbay Harbor
I always enjoy recording weddings in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. Two of my favorite locations are ceremonies at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Chapel, which faces the harbor and the Newagen Seaside Inn for receptions. Mother-nature shined a beautiful day disregarding the forecast of clouds and possible rain. I've recorded dozens of weddings with photographer Gini Haines and it always a pleasure working with her and husband Doug. They always place everyone at ease and I can always count on their professionalism. I've worked and know both of them well enough to consider them good friends.
A successful reception is not complete without a master of ceremonies and the Bob Charest Band always does a fantastic job to satisfy. Everyone was enjoying the beautiful weather and the waterfront views at the at the Newagen Seaside Inn until Bob and his gang was able to pull them inside the tent and onto the dance floor. Before we knew it we had gone a half hour over our production time. The dance floor was full to capacity and the band was rockin! It was just too much fun to ignore.
This was a well orchestrated wedding. I really love working with all these vendors as it's always a pleasure working with folks I am familiar with. Professionals who at heart want to make every wedding a success. I look forward to working with them again. Below is a list of their web sites....
Almost forgot about Sally, the wedding coordinator of Maine Weddings. She's always so quiet working behind the scene making sure everything detail is in place. Only to quickly appear and disappear once everything is set perfectly.
Thank you Kristi and Joe for giving Via-Vision the opportunity to capture your beautiful day. Enjoy the highlight video.
